Services:
- Information regarding rights and responsibilities of crime victims
- Direct services such as crises intervention, court advocacy and peer support
- Free, confidential referrals
- Hospital advocacy services upon request from Law Enforcement
- Safety planning, and additional resources and referrals as needed
- Victim notification regarding case status
- Serves as liaison with law enforcement and the legal system on victim's behalf
- Assists with restitution and victim impact statements
- Assists with filing claims for Victims of Crime Compensation
- Court accompaniment before, during, and follow up after court appearances to explain procedures, answer questions, and define terms to victim
- Hospital advocacy services upon request from Law Enforcement
- Public awareness, education, training, consultation and technical assistance to community organizations, human service agencies, and law enforcement
- Information about safety measures, TPO's and CPO's
- Follow up information by phone or in writing for victims and their families
