Union County

The Mental Health and Recovery Board of Union County is comprised of citizens, commissioned under Ohio law to serve as the local mental health and substance abuse authority, responsible for planning, funding and evaluating services.  Our mission is to bring about positive mental health and to prevent, reduce or eliminate the limiting effects of mental illness and addictive behaviors through a community wide effort.

Eligibility:
Union County resident.  You must be diagnosed with a severe mental illness and meet income restriction to be eligible for the housing program.  Additional income requirements/restrictions may apply depending on the program.
Services:
We contract with agencies that provide mental health, alcohol, and drug counseling, as well as peer support, job training and education about mental illness and substance abuse.  We operate four housing programs that are managed by Consolidated Care, Inc.
