Interim HealthCare serves as a provider for Alzheimer's Respite, PASSPORT, Title III Senior Services, and Union County Senior Services through our Interim HomeStyle Program. Interim HealthCare additionally provides Medicare, Medicaid, Ohio Home Care Waiver and Veterans Administration In-Home Services through Interim HealthCare's certified Home Health Agency Program. Overall, Interim HealthCare offers a broad range of home care and supportive services.
Skilled Nursing: These services are provided by Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). Services include health status assessments, teaching about diseases and treatment for clients and families, taking samples for lab tests, wound dressing changes, medication training and compliance, management of IVs and more.
Therapy: Many Therapies can be provided at home to speed recovery from illness, injury or surgery. These include physical therapy to regain physical motion and strength, occupational therapy to regain day to day skills such as dressing and feeding oneself, and speech and language therapy to improve communication and / or swallowing.
Medical Social Work: These professionals provide support for the social and emotional needs of the client and utilize community resources as needed.
Home Health Aide: Paraprofessionals such as certified home health aides provide assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing and meal preparation.
Home IV Therapy: Home infusion (IV) services combine pharmacy and nursing services and make it possible for people to receive prescribed medications through intravenous lines or injections while at home. Interim HealthCare offers a comprehensive range of infusion therapies from TPN, chemotherapy, antibiotics and pain management to many other specialized therapies. These therapies can be provided alone or together with a wide range of Interim HealthCare home nursing services.
Home Medical Equipment: We can also help arrange for medical equipment such as crutches, wheelchairs, beds, walkers and oxygen.
Home Infusion Therapy: Interim HealthCare can meet your infusion (IV) needs at home with our registered nurses who are experts in infusion therapy. Our nurses are PICC / MIDLINE and chemotherapy certified. Our company owned infusion pharmacy allows us to coordinated IV referrals in a timely fashion.
