Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with people in need by building and renovating houses, so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which every person can experience God's love and can live and grow into all that God intends.

Goal: To eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the face of the earth by building basic but adequate housing.
Services:
Habitat builds simple, decent, affordable homes for low income families without regard to race, gender, creed, marital status, religion, and/or national origin.
Eligibility:
Must be a resident of Union County for 12 months; present housing must be unsafe, over crowded, or sub-standard; and income guidelines
Additional Information:
Families must be able and willing to put in the required "partnership hours" per family, a "sweat equity," and be willing to attend family partner classes which will teach the basic concepts of home ownership.
