Action for Children provides families with child care and early learning information and resources.  AfC of Union County offers information on local family child care providers, child care centers, preschools, and school-age programs.  AfC provides parents with free personalized one-on-one consultation with referrals as well as information on how to choose the best care for their children.
Action for Children offers a wide variety of professional development courses to child care providers in the central Ohio area including Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin, Licking, Madison, Pickaway, and Union counties.  Individuals starting or operating a home child care business in Union County are offered the opportunity to become registered with Action for Children by meeting health and safety standards.  Benefits of Registered family child care providers include connections to resources, referrals, and a reimbursement program for serving healthy meals.
